What you may see
Krabi’s reefs support tropical fish, coral life and, on fortunate days, turtles or small reef sharks. Reef sharks are naturally cautious and generally move away from people.
Wildlife sightings are never guaranteed. Water clarity, tide, season and luck all matter, and the crew will never chase or handle marine animals for a photograph.
First time snorkeling
You do not need previous snorkeling experience. The crew explains how the mask, snorkel and fins work before you enter, and can remain close while you build confidence.
Non-swimmers can join using flotation equipment and direct crew assistance. Always tell the crew about your swimming ability before entering the water.
Equipment and safety
Premium adult and children’s snorkeling equipment is included. Life jackets are available in multiple sizes, and every stop is assessed for current, visibility and safe access back to the boat.
Guests should follow crew instructions, avoid standing on coral and never remove marine life from the water.
Why the slower boat matters
A seven-hour cruise leaves time to wait for better conditions and stay longer when a reef is working. It avoids the pattern of twenty hurried minutes followed by another fast transfer.
If snorkeling is not for you, use a paddleboard or kayak, swim beside the boat or stay on deck with the view.
